Annual Evaporative Humidifier Operation & Maintenance

 

Water Panel 10, 12, and 35:
For optimal performance of your AprilAire humidifier, we recommend water panel replacement once per year or once per heating season.

 

Water Panel 45:
For optimal performance of your AprilAire humidifier, we recommend water panel replacement twice per heating season.

 

Fall:
• Turn humidistat to desired set point
• Set damper knob to WINTER (located next to AprilAire logo)
• Confirm water supply is on

 

Spring:
• Turn humidistat to OFF*
• Set damper knob to SUMMER

 

*Digital humidifier control in automatic mode, no adjustment necessary
