With this in mind, we provide programs, resources, and support to help you and your family reach your health and wellness goals.
A key resource we provide is an on-site Health and Wellness Manager who is available as a personal resource to confidentially assist you and your family with many important health issues.

Health Risk Assessments
You and your spouse can participate in an annual Health Risk Assessment; completed during the work day. You'll also have the opportunity to meet with a health coach to review your results.
Community Supported Agriculture
You and your family are offered the opportunity to purchase a share of fresh produce from a local farmer. Produce shares are delivered weekly. Participants receive a free cookbook and access to cooking classes.
If you or your spouse's goal is to quit tobacco, we provide a number of methods to help you achieve success. Participants work directly with a tobacco cessation coach who can provide resources on addiction and behavior change techniques, as well as tobacco cessation medications at no cost.
Personal Well-Being & Mental Health
You can participate in many events throughout the year to reduce stress. Program offerings help employees increase self- awareness and develop better life management skills.
Employees and spouses who choose our health plan can take advantage of the Wellness Reimbursement program, which provides up to $200 per family per year for covered services.
Health and Wellness Coaching
As an Aprilaire employee, you'll have access to a Health and Wellness Coach. You can sign up for coaching at any time throughout the year. Coaching includes an initial meeting and goal setting, with a focus on developing methods to make sustainable health behavior changes.
With health care costs on the rise, we're doing all we can to keep your premiums low and quality high. You can enroll in a comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plan beginning the first of the month following your date of hire.
Group Health Cooperative Medical Plan Options
Aprilaire offers a choice of two medical insurance plans, a PPO and HMO, so you can choose the cost and access to care that best meets your needs. Each plan offers two tiers: single or family coverage. These plans include clinic services, urgent and emergency care, hospital and outpatient services, prescription drugs, complementary medicine, and other additional services.
Delta Dental Insurance
The plan lets you see a PPO or Premier dentist of your choice and enjoy the same benefit coverage anywhere, up to an annual maximum. The plan pays 100% for preventive services including exams and two checkups annually. Basic and major treatment is covered after applicable deductibles and coinsurance.
Delta Vision Insurance
Two vision plans through the Access network are available: full vision coverage and materials only.
Short-Term Disability Plan
When you can't work due to a non-work related disability, injury, illness or pregnancy, you may be eligible for full or partial income replacement under our Short-Term Disability Plan. The plan allows you to have coverage through the waiting period of Long-Term Disability.
Long-Term Disability Plan
To help you insure your income-earning ability, the Company provides long-term disability protection for you in addition to your Short-Term Disability Plan. As a regular full-time employee, you are eligible for this benefit on the first of the month following your date of hire.
Basic Life and AD&D Insurance
Company-provided life insurance can be an important part of your financial security in the event something happens to you. Your life insurance benefit amount is equal to one times your average annual earnings subject to a maximum.
Voluntary Life Insurance
You have the option of purchasing additional life insurance for yourself, your spouse, and/or your children. Your and your spouse's premiums are based on the covered person's age and the amount of coverage selected and the children's coverage is based only on the amount of coverage selected.
Long-Term Care Insurance
A Long-Term Care Insurance policy will pay for the type of care needed if you can't safely care for yourself and will reimburse you for the cost of that care up to the limits you select. You can receive this care in an assisted living facility, a skilled nursing facility, or in your home.
Business Travel Accident Insurance
This employer-provided benefit allows for an additional $100,000 life insurance for general staff employees who travel on company business.
401(k) Plan and Profit Sharing
It's never too early to begin thinking about how you will finance your retirement. The sooner you begin to save, the better your chances of achieving the retirement income you want. As a participant in our plan, you can control how you want your funds invested and we provide a range of funds to choose from. To help you invest those funds financial advisors are available to you at no charge. The Company’s 401(k) Plan gives you a lot of options and tools making the retirement process easier. You become eligible to contribute to your 401(k) plan, receive matching contributions, and receive profit sharing contributions on the first of the month following your date of hire.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs)
Aprilaire offers you two FSAs to help with qualified out-of-pocket expenses throughout the calendar year. You can contribute pre-tax dollars to the accounts to help cover Standard Health Care and/or Dependent Care expenses. You decide how much to contribute (up to IRS limits), based on your family's needs. Your contributions are deducted from your paycheck before taxes – saving you money on items you would need to pay for anyway. This benefit is available the first of the month following your date of hire.
College Savings Plan
EdVest is a College Savings Plan that provides a college savings strategy and gives your money the opportunity for your earnings to grow tax-free. The earnings portion of any distribution used to pay for qualified higher education expenses will be free from Wisconsin income tax up to a maximum of $3,000 per beneficiary per year.
Computer Financing Program
The Company provides an employee computer purchasing plan permitting you to use payroll deductions to purchase a personal computer. This benefit provides an interest-free payroll advance and is available to both regular full-time and regular part-time employees who have completed one year of service with the Company.
Time away from work to relax and pursue special interests is important to everyone. All regular, full-time employees are eligible for paid vacation. Our vacation plan provides benefits in accordance with length of service.
We observe and provide time off for the following holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, and Christmas Day.
Child/Elder Care Services
Services assist in the referral of child and elder care providers in a specific area.
Up to 30 minutes in-person or an appointment by telephone for each issue (divorce, custody, personal finances, domestic disputes, traffic citations, real estate, personal injury, adoption, will kits, online resources and forms).
Unlimited consultations by telephone with a certified financial counselor (budgeting, debt management, creditor negotiation, consolidation of debt, credit report review, financial planning, identity theft consultation and materials).
Unlimited phone consultations with up to 3 in-person meetings (stress, family difficulties, depression, anxiety, and chemical dependency).
Furthering your education is an aspect of professional development. The Company offers a Tuition Assistance Program to further support employee growth and development. The Company will pay for 100% of technical college or university tuition costs for course(s) commenced during a calendar year, not to exceed a calendar year maximum of $5,250.
