At AprilAire, we’re all about caring for others and being a good neighbor. We believe that we have a purpose beyond our products and use our good neighbor values to lead us in giving back to community businesses, residents, and more.
AprilAire: Our History as Good Neighbors
In the past, we’ve shown how giving back to community via volunteer opportunities or financial contributions can positively impact everyone—from raising funds to provide pack-n-plays for mothers in need, volunteering at blood drives, holding donation drives yearly, and much, much more.
AprilAire: The Future of Good Neighbor Values
To continue being a good neighbor in our future, we’re excited to continue giving back to community groups, like the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Madison, Wisconsin.
“[As] a membership organization, the Society began working in Madison in 1925 with two parish-based groups of members serving their neighbors in need. Today, programs the Society operates in Dane County include a large customer-choice food pantry, a charitable pharmacy, storage for the goods of persons who are homeless, seven thrift stores offering direct charity, housing at Port St. Vincent de Paul and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton House, and several other forms of assistance for people struggling with poverty,” reads their personal mission statement.
Though AprilAire has been working with the organization since 2014, we’re thrilled to participate in the wealth of incredible opportunities—focused on giving back to community—and live out our mission of being a good neighbor. We know that the work they are doing is giving back to community now more than ever, which is why AprilAire was honored to serve as a 2021 Platinum Sponsor for St. Vincent de Paul’s 6th Annual Care Café fundraising breakfast, “Love Made Visible,” back in May 2021.
AprilAire was also proud to have supported St. Vincent de Paul at their 2022 and 2023 Care Café events and we look forward to many more opportunities to help serve our local community.
Going virtual gave St. Vincent de Paul the unlimited capacity to reach their $140,000 fundraising goal focused on giving back to community pharmacies, food pantries, and housing programs in support of neighbors in need. To relive this good neighbor moment, watch this!
